The concept is awesome, but the characters are just ridiculous. A dad-son-son's boyfriend triangle is extremely complex and needs to be treated as such. This story is way too shallow.

I don't believe this. This is so ridiculous it's just funny.

Come on, these guys act like characters in an erotic comic.

' “Well, he’s a very manly man. Maybe his Marine Corps training will rub off on you a little.' Well, I should hope so, MOM!!

Taking your son's 19 year old best friend to a remote mountain cabin for two weeks while leaving the son at home? Is Jake not concerned this might be... weird?!

' But at this moment Cade didn’t see a surrogate father.' No, he sees a hot older guy with tattoos 'where the sun don't shine'. I'm so enjoying this right now ;-)

This starts off like a porn movie, LOL. Hot car, shirts off, checking out tattoos. Oh, and the 'retired' Major is 36. I thought he was like 60 or so reading the blurb. Silly me ;-)

Still a bit hard to swallow. I'm surprised by the number of grammatical errors.

A couple of very contrived coming out scenes plus poor editing. It's not getting much better. The writing can sometimes be an exemplar of telling, not showing.

I like the writing, but I'm not terribly convinced by the dialogue or the premise so far.
