Enjoying the politics etc world building in this one. And the heat :) I wish there were pictures of the Siren and the Deviant; they sound awesome.

They keep mentioning how all of the main characters are so loyal and devoted to the queen but they don't explain why that's true when no one else cares about the queen. And they have yet to explain why the queen never ages.

The plot, while interesting, didn't really get going until more than half way through and worse ended Dare's story without any real answers.

I'm really not liking this one. If your looking for lust this book has it, but not romance. Bodhan is an asshole - "His threat was subtle but perfectly clear. She could obey, or she could earn passage with the rest of the women." Dare is sheltered, naive, and ridiculously timid for someone named Dare. And on top of being terrible characters they haven't done any bonding that didn't involve sex. Major disappointment.

Chapter teaser questions annoy me a little bitty.

stick to sexy times, Rachel Grace. You do that better than describing the world Dare is in.
