Status Updates From Shadow Unit 2

I've finally figured out what's been bugging me about this series, even though I enjoy the characters. The whole thing is steeped far too deeply in LiveJournal culture. More on this in the review when I finish this one. I think I've bought a couple more "books" in the series, but after I've read those, I'm done. I won't be buying more.

The writing doesn't always work. I remind myself often that it's intended to be fan fiction for a TV series that doesn't exist. Sadly, the writing is about that quality, not reaching higher. There are a lot of scenes where the action and dialogue aren't clear at all, but the way they were written suggests they were very clear to the author.
