Someone to root for! Yay!

So it's one big mystery, or multiple mysteries, but will any of them be solved?

There are no characters to root for. It's all about the colony, but considering what's transpired, I don't know if there's enough there to care.

First 95 pages were a snoozefest. Finally seeing something happening.

Slower going but I've finally made it to the initial landing on Gehenna.

We're out to the landing now. It sort of reminds me of reading Dragon's Dawn

I just realized how much amusement I get from seeing 'dated tech' in Sci-fi. But since this was from the Early 1980s, it's understandable. Reading it from a 2025 standpoint, it's a bit fun. Tapes and fax printouts were the more affordable tech of this early part of the 80s. Heck my house still had a rotary wall phone even then.
