Status Updates From The Beach House

I can’t finish it. Not my kind of book

The book starts off incredibly slowly and doesn’t really pick up until the halfway point. There are so many characters that you practically need a diagram to keep track of who’s who!
I like Nan so far, although you can certainly tell she was written by an English woman. Having lived such a long, interesting life. Nan seems almost too kind and untouched by life. She hasn’t developed the “Old Salt” attitude

finally they’re all coming together. again, the writing is abysmal.

alright it’s fine now. but the only story i’m actually curious about is daniels. idc about divorcee’s or rich ladies losing their money. i care about GAY PEOPLE!!!

OMG and i’m getting whiplash from her moving to different characters randomly and so often. just bad.

GOD the sentence structure and grammatical errors makes this so frustrating to read. like she has good ideas and i’m interested in them, but im sick of all these sentences and their commas. some of them are even incomplete sentences!!!! what the hell is even going on. i stole this book from my mom so…im glad i didn’t buy it myself.

it’s interesting…the sentence structure is kinda so bad. it’s like so many commas!!! but the story seems interesting…nothing can top the dread series though i fear.
