Status Updates From After Eden (Fallen Angels #1)

A human without a soul... hmm still the plot at this point is boring...

The story isn’t bad so far. The characters are a little nuts and I am curious why Devi’s brother was kidnapped as a child ... and why not her? They are twins... so why just one and not the other one too? And by whom?

OZ GOD DAMN IT I knew he was going to shoot her but fuck, I still can't got over how emotionally he does it

Is it possible to forget how much you love a book till you've started reading it again and your laughing at Oz's and Devi's banter, you end up scared of a devil (slightly but he has purple eyes he's scary) and your thoughts that angels are all powerful goes out the window. Only regret about this book is that I don't have the second one, now I'm going to go and read when Jasmine/Oz, Devi and Kim go pad James's car

Alright but needs some major editing and more depth....

When interacting with our heroes, Forneus may ultimately prove to be good, bad, ugly, or asshole, I don't know. What I DO know is that he's snarky, hilarious, and menacing in a hot way. However this turns out, he's now on my list of Book Boyfriends.

After reading a string of really crappy books, I'm quite pleased with this one. Well written (and with a good copy editor!) and so far the story is creative, intriguing, and preventing me from doing responsible adult things like swapping laundry to the dryer and washing the dishes. YAY! I love it when a book is good.
