Status Updates From Mass Effect: Revelation

Pour one out for BioWare.

Listening to the audiobook at the gym this week.

Reading this only to prepare for an ME2 playthrough. Immediately fails at showing and telling and not info-dumping. So far only plot and expo. Funny that the other men in Anderson's crew are just names while we get a quick dive into the physical proportions of the sole female soldier. Are we not entitled to also know whether the other men have the fattest dumptrucks aboard?

Drew Karpyshyn, I find you guilty of the crime of wantonly abusing the phrase "he/she admitted".

Maybe 26 times doesn't seem like a big number spread over a novel, but it feels like more, especially when it's just someone answering a normal question, not making a confession.
