I enjoyed savouring that. It's a slow read, one that will put off a lot of readers, but I was caught up in the saga on the world and the generations of people affected by the seismic seasonal changes. The characters aren't overly likable, but their stories are very human and I will miss seeing their lives unfold

Onwards to Helliconia Summer

Roughly 30% in now and it’s a little slow but I’m still very invested so I think I’m gonna keep at it. Guess you can’t rush greatness
