Status Updates From Odious Ghouls

This is insanity. I cant even fathom how this could possible have a happy ending, but I can’t stop reading. It’s intense and full of action and foreboding imagery.

So far, I’m incredibly grateful I’m reading this during the day, a bright sunny day. Oof this is insane. Creepy and gory and utterly enjoyable.

Hitting a good stride with a motley cast of characters. Tabby is hard not to like, but Skip is going to have to grow on me. Have a feeling he will.

Enjoying this book and psyched to support my new friend!

In the prologue, the cozy, creepy (and a little cute) conversation between child and grandparent is ominous and cinematic. But then… the tone shifts gears and hits modern horror mode for the first chapter. Sweet!
