I went from not liking this book to absolutely loving it. Amelia Wilde continues to blow me away with her stories and characters. Jameson is a broken hero but Lily might be the one to save him—she is his angel, after all. Their chemistry and love scenes were incredibly hot. What began as impulsive kidnapping turned into something so much more. The book ends with a shocking cliffhanger and now it's Lily's turn.

I admit, I didn't like what Jameson was doing to Lily at first. It felt wrong and I felt really bad for her. But something started to shift between them and now... it's so much more. Of course this is still the beginning of their relationship and we have no idea where Amelia Wilde is going to take this story but their chemistry is quite explosive. There's a bit of kinky play going on here. Didn't expect that at all.

Very intriguing indeed. It seems like Jameson is just as broken as his brothers but he goes to the extreme by choosing to kidnap Lily instead of going after the judge that condemned his family. Obviously he's not thinking correctly but I do see a spark of chemistry between these two. I'm definitely interested in reading more because Jameson has always been nose the reckless one who always jokes around.
