That was very good last story.

Would've read more, but LIFE keeps shitting on me.

There isn't anything too subversive going on here, aside from the Grail being originally a part of Lucifer then changed by Jesus, which is both interesting and refreshing for Lee. But we shall see.

That story was a little sad. Tragic to be a god.

Onto "The Kingdoms of Air," which I'm liking so far.

"The Truce" was very short, but effective, and quite depressing. Reminiscent of James Tiptree Jr.

Onto "The God Orkrem."

Interesting ending. Shows the ridiculousness of prejudice and how paranoid those are who live their lives by it.

Khemia is the ancient root of alchemy.

"Beauty is the Beast" is a little better than "Cold Snap," was, but I'm a bit mystified by the ending.

Onto "Into Gold," which is one I've been anticipating. We seem to be in ancient Rome.

"Beaty is the Beast" is off to an interesting start. Can't quite tell the time period though.

"Cold Snap" has been the weakest thus far. A nice little fairy-tale-like story, but nothing much else.

Well, that was a somewhat morose story, though probably the best one yet.
Widowed warrior is hired to kill a dragon. Does so, but becomes depressed after he killed her and watches the people around him become cruel. Then adopts baby girl dragon and accepts one day she might kill him.

Bit of an abrupt ending, which is a shame because I was liking this story. We never even really found out why Lunaria and Subyrus hated each other.

Onto "After I Killed Her."

Mayhap there be some sexual tension between Subyrus and Lunaria?

Well, that was a nice story. Ending as bit too neat.

Onto "Blue Vase of Ghosts" which already has an interesting premise and start.

This story really does feel like an Arabian Nights, sword and sorcery-esque adventure. I love it!

Lee always gives her female characters great names.

There's some slight Orientlist things in this story, I feel, but otherwise it's pretty good so far.

Zulmeh's story was a reflective one, but to be honest the connection to Tales from the Flat Earth is barely there. it could've been its own original story. Nonetheless, I liking the ending message.

Now onto the other stories, starting with "Foolish, Clever, Wicked, and Kind."

I wonder if Zulmeh's storyline will be similar to Zorayas' from the original series.

Tragic ending although bittersweet, in a way. This story wasn't bad, but for some reason I don't like it as much as the previous two. It isn't awful, but just the weakest so far.

Onto "I Bring You Forever."

I thought this story would focus more on Razved, but it seems Jandur is the main character.

Love a good revenge story.
Starting the "The Pain of Glass" which has a prince horney for a glass cup.

Oh, so Thus was the snake!
Zerezel has got to be planning something.

So this second story takes place some time after Delusion's Master it seems.
Onto "The Snake." Maybe the first time time we've seen a winter world in this series (from what I remember).

I just know Azhrarn's going to mess up Jaqir and the king.

We got to see a much earlier time from before Azhrarn was a Lord of Darkness in "The Origin of Snow." Nice to see one of the Drin more of a character in "The Man Who Stole the Moon" so far.
