This is a perfect example of Ottis' feelings for his best friend. He has always been her rock, so it is nice to see how his feelings have started to change. They say trauma tears people apart. What if the opposite is true for Evelyn and Ottis! ❤️

“Just so you know, I snore,” I sign, smirking. “Loud.” A small smile slowly pulls at the corner of his lips before he shrugs one of his shoulders. “That’s okay. I’m deaf.” Touché.

This is just a glimpse of the main characters dynamic and banter. I just love It!

Evelyn and Otis friends to lovers being it on! Did I mention there is angst and good banter ?! Great start to this book by Larissa Moyer

Have you ever read a book that just seems to go on forever but not in a good way? This is what I’m experiencing with this book now. It’s not that it is necessarily a bad story, the characters are good, the writing is good. It’s just, ok not great.

When I tell I plowed though this book, I did minimal sleeping so I can keep reading. It's. That. Good!
