I’m just not jiving with the writing even though this was recommended by the great Amanda Milo. 😭 Royce hasn’t done anything really worthy of awe and Leah can’t speak and spends most of her time trying to get to the ocean. This plot is not very riveting. 😫

Oh thank goodness she finally mimed writing. I would laugh my ass off if she finally received paper and pen but no one could read. 🤣 Her mutism and daily requirements are more annoying plot contrivances. I wish she interacted more with her dude.

I love these books- I read them a while back and forgot how good they are. Part of my wants to persevere and just finish this tonight but it's 2:30AM and I have work in the morning
