Sometimes when I can’t pick what book I’m going to read next, I collect 4-5 book covers and send them to a few friends to pick for me. They’re not readers. They don’t know anything about the books. They’re allowed to pick whatever they want, for whatever reason they want. Usually the vote is split, and has to go another round.
