Status Updates From Shield of Fire (Bringer and...

I don't actually know what percentage I've read, but I do know that I've read the first 10 chapters. Its not that its a bad book -- it just hasn't "pulled me in" yet. Hmmmm, I may have to shelve this for later. I just can't get into it. Its premise is interesting enough, so maybe its me... For now, this is a DNF for me.

Dnf at 50 or pages. Started strong, but then bad dialogue happened and things started going south in a hurry. Confusing and pointless character choices/screwy motivations. I may try again later, but for now-I give up.

Stayed up late reading.....found my kindle next to me this morning

This read started out great, drew me right in, then it coughed, sputtered, and fell on the floor in a huff. I think the author got lost in the characters. Let me expand... heroine took a step, handsome rescuer slide his hand through his hair, heroine signed, handsome breathed.....Pleeeease, I don't want to know every moment, every thought. It should not take pages to cover only a couple mundane hours. Step it up!

Not really sure *what* they are but I'm loving them so far!

I had high hopes for this book when I first started, but sadly I'm getting more and more "meh" as I read.
