Status Updates From Wild Horses

This is the second book in a short time that has dialogues as if these men are incapable of speaking in true, whole sentences. Lots of ‘….’ and ‘uhm’s’ and breaking off when they tell something. I hope it’s not a new trend because I find it annoying. AND HONEST, REAL LIFE DIALOGUES CAN MAKE OR BREAK A STORY!

Going at a turtle’s pace - it’s a charming story all right, but maybe a little too much telling and not showing? It makes it harder to feel the connection between Kit and Mick.

I am having just as much fun rereading this as I had reading this the first time. Mick and Kit are seriously the CUTEST characters ever, and I'm urging everyone to read this book!! 💕💖
