Status Updates From Monster Hunter Internationa...

Fun, action-packed, and funny at times. I like the immersion between monster legends and cryptic lore, I also like the twist of more Eldritch/lovecraftian horror blended in as well.
Story was also fun, especially when it came to more serious parts.
Characters also made this story absolutely worthwhile!
Overall, love this book, and I can’t wait to read the rest of the series!

This has gone from action-packed movie to an action-packed/Eldritch horror genre… I was not expecting that kind of transition

I’m loving this, I love the action, the story is good and I like the mix of modern day with mythological/cryptid-esque explanations of the monsters.
Personally, there’s a lot more “magic” in this story that I originally thought, but it’s still entertaining!

Story has started to pick up and has definitely taken an interesting turn. But good action and I’m starting to personally like one of the side characters.

So far it’s like reading an action movie! Plus, the amount of detail when it comes to guns/shooting is so specific I can’t help but laugh
