Status Updates From Begat: The King James Bible...

An interesting read but more one to dip into regularly than to sit and read as one piece.

This is one of those ‘interesting’ books, with short chapters of clear and witty analysis of the literary phrases found in the Bible that have transformed into idioms. It seems meticulously research, but not expressed in a massively dense way. It feels like a book of facts more than anything; fun stories and things to refer back to. I really like it, probably because I’m such a theist.
