OMG the insecurity is real with Lisa. Like girl get a grip. Maybe these two are made for each other because they are both extremists.

So Lisa tells Rod that she doesn't want to do anything tonight and he is blowing up at her asking her if she is playing with him. Like this dude is to hot and cold. This is why I liked Lance better. He knows how to keep himself under control better.

I'm a little impressed by the idea that Rod had here. I mean if it works then they are golden.

So Lisa focuses on looks because her ex boyfriend left her because she was not pretty or flashy enough. That kind of explains her hyper awareness to this but it is a horrible reason.

OK every time Lisa calls the name of her cat I keep thinking she’s talking about my best friend.

Rod has got to stop grabbing her upper arm when he gets angry. I don’t understand why he needs to touch her. It’s not a good look.

The author is taking a new approach in this book but I don’t know if I care for it. The MC focusses a lot on looks and both her and the male MC talk a lot about how physically attracted they are to each other. It’s a bit much since they literally met only few days ago now. Now Lisa is tearing up when Rod ( I hate this name) is talking to her co worker. I mean just stop it girl. It’s been barely a week.

I don’t really like how Lisa is just plotting to have Rod our done a peg. It’s really petty.

I understand not wanting to speak to people when your pressed for time at lunch but I thought a Lisa could have been a little nicer to Earl as he was a older gentleman. Also I don’t like Rod always checking Lisa out like a piece of ass. Lance was so much more sophisticated when dealing with Summer. How did we get such a dog for this book?

So I thought this was a sequel but it may be a companion novel as the dude's name is Rod Malone. The only thing is that I don't remember Lance mentioning a brother.
