I'm starting to find this fascinating, as there is an illusion of moral ambiguity. It's structured to be ambiguous, but it's not. As much as I disagree with some stuff, my real problems with Stagger Bay are few and I find it rather challenging.

Not sure where this is going anymore. Markus first gets terribly wronged, then does something awesome to make things right. Now he's hanging out with street gangs? Whaaat?

Well, this is going in all sorts of unexpected directions. Fresh and surprising, but I just don't feel it has really kicked off yet.

Well, sctratch that. There are still unnecessary curves in the narrative and self-involved passages, BUT it's still a dramatic improvement. There is a sense of flow to Stagger Bay and it's tighter than what Hansen has gotten me used to.
