The thing is that changeling lore is actually interesting and fun and the author of this instead of actually using the existing lore and doing something with it has just thrown the established mythos in the trash and replaced it with deeply stupid vaguely eugenicist bullshit

The protagonist who are clearly meant to like is completely insufferable and she has NOT improved as the story's gone on
