Status Updates From Between Two Fires

I did not expect to cry with a book like this. But it did strike my sensitive nerve. Nevertheless, the more I advance with it, the more bizarre and confusing it becomes, which I believe is an excellent way of representing the current state of this world’s state. I am pleased with this short yet complex narrative, I cannot wait to see it’s end.

captivated from the first page. as soon as the angels were mentioned i knew immediately that this was going to be a wonderful read. also, thomas just fully aurafarming was a nice introduction to the novel. i really enjoy the “swordplay”(?) style of dialogue and the grim, grotesque, barely holy setting.
