Status Updates From The Villain Virus (NERDS, #4)

VISUALIZE: The Antagonist attacks the store employees for not paying attention. On page 39 It says," They're in the next aisle over by the color-copy paper. The manager said." This describes the store and what he wants and because those are so familiar to me it is easy to picture a scene in a store with aisles where the Antagonist wants a three ring binder.

TEXT TO TEXT: Nerds is like a Spy Ski School. A group of young intelligent kids goes and thwarts a villain's plans. However this book is different because it is not as straightforward. It did not list the villain's name until about 40 pages in.

While reading I predicted that Heathcliff would try to turn the whole world into villains using his virus. He had already made a powerful virus that could turn good people evil, he knew a lot about the NERDS’ technology. The virus was spreading fast, and even the team was in danger, which made me think things would get worse. Making this prediction helped me stay interested and excited to see what would happen next.

SUPP. CHARACTERS: Ms. Holiday is a minor character who helps guide the NERDS team. She isn’t out in the field with them, but she gives advice and keeps the team on track. Even though she doesn’t have a big role, she helps keep everything organized and makes sure the kids stay focused on their mission. Ms. Holiday is a good influence, reminding the team to work together & think things through when things get crazy.

Protagonist: the protagonist is the nerds known as Flinch, puffer fish, Glue stick and Brace face also brand are the protagonists of the story who are trying to save the world from the evil virus.

Conflict: The nerds are facing character vs society because of the virus that infects people and gives them power and makes them crazy and they become villains. There the nerds need to find a cure save everyone and faced them and find who did this.

Conflict: It is character vs society because the character faces everyone in the world because everyone is getting infected by little machines. These little machines give people powers but it is from another planet they infect someone and make them go crazy destroying everything. there the character has to face them all and find a cure to save them.
