I’ve appreciated Glaeser’s apologia (non-derogatory) of the urban form. I’ve thought of, in very basic terms, a number of these arguments before, so it’s somewhat validating to hear an academic defend the value of urban life and discuss the inefficiency & potential environmental problems associated w/ suburban life. Reading chapters out of order for a class; unsure of my total progress.

Quite a good volume.
