Finished till Induced Homomorphisms. At least the proof that pi_1(S^1) = Z clicked with me now, though I skipped the proof of statement (c) on page 30. Managed to get to the 2-d Borsuk-Ulam theorem, which is good. My head hurts now, so I will stop here at "Induced Homeomorphisms".

Stopped in the middle of proof of Theorem 1.7. (That S^1 has fundamental group Z.) I skipped parts of the introduction that were already too advanced for me and got stuck here. That was before 2026. - 18:00, 02.01.2026
