Status Updates From Filia and the Fall Festival

I didn’t love how the plot slowed so much in the middle and dragged out the back and forth on Filia’s main struggle of being honest or keeping her secrets. Once the pace picked up at the back end, it was exciting a fun! Didn’t see some of the twists coming.

The FMC is a little bit wishy washy with what she wants and how she should behave. I feel like that might be more going on with Dawson than what we’ve learned so far. Something seems off there.

I’m liking how the secrets are slowly being revealed. I don’t love that they are both betrothed to someone though knowing they are arranged, it’s a little better. The Aunty in this story is a character that is intriguing in a bad guy way. What is she up to?

Interesting and I like all the medical things she notices.

Second Chance romance. I love getting the small tidbits of the past sprinkle throughout the story. It’s still a mystery that I can’t wait to see unfold.

The first couple chapters are already fast paced and mysterious. The world building is weaved in naturally. I’m enjoying this one.
