This book is really in depth and detailed. I wish I had reviewed it before I went on a 2 week silent retreat (Vipassana). It has really added a whole new awareness and dimension to my practice. I am looking forward to learning more!

First guided meditation today - it was pretty cool. I am thinking I should re-do it?

Reggie (the author) suggested various strategies for taking in the content, one of which was to read, revisit, move forward. I appreciated those tips.

After reading about The Cloud of Unknowing which discusses contemplative prayer via letters from a medieval monk to a student, I have to say, once again, I am drawn to Tibetan traditions and practices... so far, this ride has been pretty engaging. Looking forward to the rest.
