I had to buy this as part of a pay-what-you-want bundle directly from the author (another casualty of the Samhain Press debacle). I figured $3.99 per book is about right, and the bundle included 4 books I haven’t read (including another from my TBR queue). I think it will be an excellent value.

Cale Just! told James about Recluse. Pooh-dear's clearly not smart enough to see it himself. I mean look at Cale. Look. At. Him! I hate it when authors leave you jumping like a monkey from frustration, yelling at characters.

And then there is the "L" word. Out Of The Blue. There is a huge BLAH where it comes to MCs chemistry, so - HOW?

The book is dragging. Two pages of action, 50 pages of MEH :/

I feel a dnf coming. Can I dnf book 2 and go straight to 3 or give up? Ugh

Hrmmm. A mixed bag for me.

Well, that's certainly an unexpected beginning. Color me a mix of confusion, admiration, and curiosity.
