i’m literally crying what IS this

‘ As he spoke, the ship slowly righted itself until the deck was flat again, leaving Smee and Jillian lying side-by-side and much too close. With blushing cheeks, Jillian disentangled herself from the rope and the pirate, wondering how she got into these absurd situations. ’

‘A lesser person might have cursed their decision to refuse Peter’s help, but Jillian was determined to handle the problems on her own.’

she’s dumb. so, so dumb

HA I love Smee so much.

Also I know Jillian and Peter are gonna be endgame cause it’s obvious from the beginning but I actually ship Jillian and Smee right now so unless Smee betrays her (AND HE BETTER NOT I HAVE ENOUGH TRUST ISSUES) it might be hard for me to go back to shipping Jillian and Peter

Ok but Smee always looking out for Jillian and making her feel safe even though he’s well aware she can fight for herself>>>>>>>>>

Halfway through! So good, and I’ve already ordered the other two books in the series!
