I think I'm learning a lot from this audiobook; I think it's the right level of detail but I am finding it hard to pay attention. Sometimes that's my fault and sometimes it's the book's fault. Remains to be seen.

Really compelling listen. I’ve already learned a lot about their personalities (kind of deranged; Trump doesn’t have that much on Nixon honestly), their thought process/grievous errors in Vietnam, and the horrendous calculations in Chile.

This is easy to listen to. I’ve already learned a lot about how decisions were made during Vietnam. I also found it interesting how Nixon perhaps exceeded Trump in his obsession with reporters who covered him negatively (or even neutrally and factually) and went so far as to wiretap their phones. His antisemitism is abhorrent; like Trump in he thinks they are loyal to Israel and vote democratic.
