Continued profound disagreement. He is finally addressing Exodus 3:14 (I Am Who I Am) but insists that understanding this to mean “God is”(i.e. God is his essence, is his existence, etc) is incompatible with trinitarianism. Needless to say, I suspect just about everyone who is anyone in pre-modern theology would disagree.

Half way through and it finally seems to have turned a corner. Still not sure if I’m got to agree with his argument, but he seems to have finished with all his pushback against Aquinas and others and turned to his own positive claim.

Still don’t agree with what he seems to be arguing for here…but still waiting to see where exactly he’s going
