Status Updates From Ashes and Wine

"His hair was down tonight, the heavy mass of inky hair alive around broad shoulders. He wore a fitted black leather jacket over a black button-down shirt, open at the neck, and black dress pants. A silver chain glinted at his throat, making his skin look even darker. The entire package was as potent as a double shot of bourbon." Yummy!

The drunk scene in the middle of the book had me wheezing with laughter. It nicely eased the tension in the story so it wasn't too serious and heavy. Back in teh heavy stuff now but I think I can finish the book.

Well I wasn't expecting that story line. I'm enjoying the story so far; I'll see if I can finish it. If I do DNF it will be my fault, not the book's.

I think my heart just broke a little :'(

I was having trouble with the font size so I re-downloaded the PDF to my kindle and now it's legible! Reading will be much easier now. :D

Love! The writing is lush; that's the best word I can come up with right now to describe this writing...like I want to chew the words. :)

This is a sensuous , delectable tale full of hope, heat and heart. I loved it

Intelligent writing. Lots of wine and winery talk in the first 20%.

Tentatively reading so that I don't miss a thing...so far, zero tears shed. Phew.
