Okay, first. I have no idea what is going on with the cover chosen for this book! 😅It in NO way represents the MFC. BUT I must say that this book captivates me more than The Shield of Sparrows, which is more well known and main stream. Guess it’s personal preference OR….. we should start giving less popular books more credit.

This is so much fun!

This one had the misfortune of being the next book to read in my library after finishing an altogether different book…the perilous waif. So, it’s easy to say this one did not meet the high expectations I was having after finishing such a good one.

There’s just something I inherently dislike about this one. It’s actually forgettable. But I would read a follow up if there is one.

She is pathetic. This book is driving me nuts but yet i can’t stop??

Also she’s like a total badass right? We’re told this over and over. But she gets kidnapped by our main dude with zero fight. She puts up no fight after either. Is she gonna be a victim this entire time?

Oh look guy tells girl she’s meeting his aunt, girl sees other girl hug in 2 seconds later and gets jealous because another girl is hugging him??? Who could it be (his aunt you dumb fuck)

Why is Jaya 12? Who the fuck shrieks in response to news? Also why are we listing after our kidnapper kids that is called abuse and we don’t do it.
