I’m already falling in love with the narrative voice from the first sentence.

it feels like the first book I'm enjoying in weeks. It's funny and witty and I love Harry and his narration.

the more years you spend without a clear plan the more you feel like a failure. It's ridiculous, but it's what they grow up believing. They worship this idea that they need everything settled right away. And then they do stupid things, completely illogical and out of proportion things

He thinks he must grab a future for himself, whatever the cost. Like futures are a finite resource, like he may lose his place in line if he doesn't make money and establish himself right now. That's the way twenty-year-olds think. They're too used to this idea of advancement as a fair, orderly process. Before you can enter sixth grade, you must pass fifth grade… that sort of thing.

I know the story is just beginning, but so far I am loving it! Why didn't I know about this book sooner?

There are, like, 5 other books I was going to read first, but I just took a peak at this one, and got sucked into the story. In a stay-up-all-night, late-for-work, neglect-your-kids kind of way.
