Status Updates From Büyüdükçe 'Blow Up'

Picked up the book again after yet another gap. Surprisingly, I quite enjoyed the two stories I read today: End of the Game, and At Your Service. I had had enough of the aloof/cool/stylish air of the previous stories, and these two were not that at all. Very refreshing, and narrated by genuinely interesting characters with their own viewpoints!

Last week, there was a double billing of Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro and Antonioni's Blow-Up, organized by Supakino at the Close-Up Film Centre in London, UK. Now, I don't live in London. But I follow Supakino on Instagram and got major FOMO from the event's promos. Enough for me to pick up again the book where I had left it back in June. Of course, in the original Cortázar story, it is the photographer who gets murdered.

Came to this to read “blow up” because I like the Antonioni film but that story was a miss for me
