Halfway done and only a day has gone by in this book. It feels like a lifetime with all the backstory tangents on everyone and everything.

Annabel’s character is just too unbelievable at this point. She is always on her high horse looking down her nose at everyone not in her super cool circle, and everyone always thinks she is so funny and clever. Then her tiny self is able to take down a big guy while everyone else is terrified and blubbering!? Can’t get more unrealistic than that.

It’s entertaining but she goes off on so many tangents that it’s starting to annoy me. I want to know what going on now, not a forever long backstory for how you met a friend. Just say you met him as a kid in school. More time has been spent on these tangents than the actual relationship between our main characters.

I still don't quite know what to think.... Those two MCs go backwards and forwards in their non - relationship it gives you whiplash.
