The moment I met Lea and Daniel in The Chocolate Rose, I knew I needed to read this. I'm so excited to see this couple actually deal with everything Gabriel and Jolie were afraid of happening - which kind of felt like a non-issue and unnecessary angst.

That's the first time I've ever hated a Laura Florand heroine. I just couldn't sympathise with Lea at all. I'm so sad right now.

How can she be married to him for ten years and not know him at all? This is really sad.

This is why I struggle with marriage in trouble books. I can't understand having a marriage where you don't understand each other and don't communicate. My husband & I know each other inside out & I can't imagine being any other way. It breaks my heart reading about a couple who love each other but have problems that could be so easily fixed if they just talked to each other.

Did they have some unmentioned anniversary or something? The first half of this novella they were married for ten years, now suddenly it's eleven.

Oh, God, can you guys please just talk about your marriage. You need to do a better job communicating and I need to not read that dreaded euphemism (for both sets of genitalia!) every paragraph through this interminable sex scene. *cringe and gag until I die*
