Jesus:“My brother and his friends can assist with much of the labor, but they have no skills with masonry. I need someone to help me dress stones.”
Mike:“You could teach me.”
Jesus:“I doubt I have that many years left to me.”
Mike:“Very funny...”

Barbara:"I don’t know how to thank you."
Mike:"Then don’t... Remember how Mom wouldn’t let me work after school? Even while she held down two jobs?"
Barbara:"So you could wrestle and get a scholarship to attend college."
Mike:"People do for the folks they love. That’s what she used
to say."

George:“We’ll need to get Mike started on his language and cultural training ASAP.”
Lance:“Agreed... But we must alter some of our original
planning in light of the sergeant’s popularity.”
George:“How do you mean?”
Lance:“He’s become a media darling.”

Mike:“How did you get the Rolex through the matrix?”
Len:“What!”
Mike:“The force field’s charge should have magnetized the Rolex’s inner works.”
Len:“We’re about to be stranded forever in this god-forsaken place, and you want to know about wristwatches?”

Mike:“I don’t understand... I was embedded here for life.”
Len:“Life’s a long time, sergeant. Things change.”

One of the best books I've read in a while. Highly recommend it!

This book is really good. REALLY good. Enjoying it very much so far.
