TL;DR: Creep first spots her in a party years ago, after she breaks up with her boyfriend he engineers their meeting&dinner, asks her to be his sub sex slave, then when she "escapes" by not calling him back he finds her again via her boss,steals her car keys(w/o her knowledge it's a theft) before asking her to move in with him on the first night he "meets" her again.. In which universe is this not a creepy stalker?

Plot twist: He lied.

He pulled me into his arms while I thought about what he'd said. Somehow he'd gotten the keys to my car-from my purse? Or had he called AAA? He'd gotten my car, one way or another. Before he'd even asked me to move in with him, he'd already known what my answer would be.

Sure, stealing your car keys before asking you to move in with him on your first night together doesn't raise ALL THE RED FLAG PARADES.
