Status Updates From Shadowflesh (Shadowflesh, #1)

I found this thing tucked in a pile of junk I brought home when I transferred from R-MC. Maybe I should actually go back and try to finish it? I mean, I did start it over a year ago...

Like this book so far

One thing I find I like about this book is I am truly fascinated with the story plot, etc. I especially like that reading the slightest bit ahead does not help me at all, which forces me to go back and continue where I left off ... truly enjoying this.

I won the second book and realized it would make a lot more sense if I read this one first and I am actually enjoying it so far hahaha truly surprised.

God, Donelle's crazy..

I want to meet Donelle already, considering that she's the person who got Addison into this mess.

The Aileen-Addison relationship kind of makes me think of Twilight. 'I shouldn't be drawn to him, but I am.' Lol.

So far, Aileen is kind of bratty, and I'm not sure if I like her character or not. As for the writing itself, I feel like the complex sentence structure and some of the word choice might be too smart for the targeted audience. Also, too many adjectives (I know, how is that even possible?). They are abundant and don't always flow well in the sentence.

It bothers me that I have been too busy to read. But all I have planned tomorrow is going to the pool. I will catch up! :)

A lot happened today so I wasn't able to read as much as I wanted to. But I really like it so far. Has my attention :)
