Status Updates From Leerdicht over de Natuur

Two thousand lines is enough for now.

By the Thousandth line I’m captivated. It is a morning of portents.

Every time I read another portion of this I think, “Maybe this time it’ll be so interesting that it doesn’t feel like pulling teeth would be better than reading this,” and then I look at the clock and realize it took me 3hrs to read 40 pages of this godawful book. And I’m not even done.

If only Titus could have imagined how the advances in many scientific fields would come to interact/mingle with his observations. I respect him as a man of learning.
