As a runner , having met many of the 100 marathon club including several interviewed in this book, I would definitely recommend this book. Read the chapter on the Legend that is Brian Mills yes a lovely quiet unassuming chap, on over 1,000 maybe 1200 marathons when I met him several years ago but after the book was written.

During the author's interview with the youngest record holder (at 23) for 10-in-10, she adds she can't 'imagine anyone get(ing) up every day for 10 days and run 26.2 miles... obviously she's yet to know Dean Karnazes!
