Status Updates From Cover Story (Cover Story #1)

WHAT???? They’re KISSING??????? After hanging out TWICE?????????????? 🤨😟😬🫠 i was soooo excited about this book, and now i want to dnf 🥲

I’m so annoyed that AJ is immediately into Dax….. booooooo just give me a TRUE slow burn!!

Everyone’s laughing except for me. I’m glad y’all are having fun, though. 🤒 To me, this kind of feels like when you’re hanging out with people and they’re talking about some things they went through together and their own inside jokes. No matter how much they explain them to you, you’ll never fully understand them and you’ll always feel a little detached from the conversation.

Okay. How many times is AJ gonna call himself an introvert?

They had this whoooole conversation and AJ STILL hasn’t mentioned that Dax was 1 hour late? C’mon!

“AJ puts a hand over mine, and I freeze before my eyes flicker up to meet his. I feel like I’ve touched a live electrical wire.”

god i haaaaate when characters (who are still basically strangers) touch for the 1st time and immediately feel sparks and electricity 🙄🙄🙄🙄

“Something about the way he looks—amazingly polished and handsome, yet a little self-conscious—makes my stomach flutter. It’s probably just secondhand nervousness for him. Has to be.”

FOR FUCK’S SAKE!!! you JUST MET!!! please do NOT let this be insta love!! 😫

I'm already obsessed with this.

It’s a crime that I can’t stay up all night reading this. Seriously, I will be contacting the authorities. 😭😭
