dude is a fucking weirdo. who calls their wife "mrs so-and-so". i thought it was his high school teacher or something. this book is irritating to me for some reason. just cause he survived the jump doesn't make him inspirational yeah nah it just makes him an anomaly. i feel early on this may be a DNF

well i remember this guy from the bridge documentary cause he said something like, "as soon as i jumped i knew it was a mistake" and like dude if he'd tried a different way then you don't get those feelings. is his life better now is the question

I just finished reading Chapter 1. I think this is an important story to hear. Too many of our books are written from the perspective of authors who have good mental health. Hearing the story of someone who lives with mental illness, and read from his own voice on Audible, is difficult to listen to but simultaneously refreshing.
