Status Updates From Shadowman, Volume 2: Darque...

I can't pinpoint why, but, to me, the art in this second volume doesn't look as good as in the first one, even while I'm not sure the style's much different. I can't tell if it's the same artist or what--there are more illustrators listed on this volume. Maybe one tried to copy what the previous artist had done alone? No matter--I like the Shadowman character a lot, so the art won't necessarily matter that much.

As usual, my library has volume two, but not volume one; hence, I'm a bit lost about characters and lore. But for all that, I'm intrigued, the art is great, and I'm enjoying the ride.

There is something in all of us that persists beyond death. You would call this a soul.

I've always been alone.

I don't need your help, Dox!
