I started last night. I can't really run yet, but I can almost power walk myself to that point. Interesting about the 23 and 1/2 principle. I'm going to aim for 30 minutes a day, but really I'd like to try for 60. And I'm not sure that all that's going to be running. I might try to run for 10 to 15 minutes a day to start. I guess I'm what you call skinny fat.

I'm not sure if I'm never going to be able to run again after the events of the past few years, but I'm interested in having a look and maybe giving it a go.
