Beginning of this book definitely belonged as ending of last book! The author shouldn't have left a cliffhanger ending just to tie it up in the first chapter or so of this book. I get the feeling the author is a bit of a control freak. Bet that's why this witchy series doesn't engrossing me like Geary's.
