Hah!! British Columbia, Canada!! I Googled if Canada had a college SFU. Finally at least I know what country these guys are in!

Ummm.... he's not sitting on the couch so why would his fidgeting make it shake?

Hmmm.... where is this at? Surrey, currency's dollars, Canadian accent, "First year at Emily Carr", and another guy at SFU. Degree in Canadian studies. Hmmm.... can't quite figure out what country... Surrey made me think England. Dollars, the way they talk and SFU, made me think the US. Canadian accent and Canadian studies leads me to conclude Canada?

It took me an embarrassingly long time to realize this was set in Canada.

Really enjoying this one so far, but some of the emotional reactions leave me reeling. Somebody asks an innocent question, and the next thing you know somebody else is storming out of the room.

Okay, things are getting better. I appreciate the struggles Christian is going through now but I didn't at first. I think that sex scene was supposed to be read as funny but I didn't see it that way because of the awkward interaction. Awkwardness makes me feel embarrassed and I couldn't handle it. Personal issues bleeding into the story for me. Oy!

I read somewhere that this is supposed to be a comedy. It is funny at certain points but I am having a hard time with the story still. Maybe I should stop reading it but I want to know if I will like it more if I push through it.
