Status Updates From Love of Truth

Trying to relax is still a challenge since coming back from Iraq. I am so thankful that I came home safe. No PTSD bogging me down. I can fully sleep and not dependent on drug, but my heightened senses have never fully calmed.

To indie authors: editing is key. Proofreading it is also key.

Considering DNF this. The writing is already making me want to claw my eyes out. This is the downside to self-pub'd books; you can rarely know what amount of editing the book went through before it was released. This one doesn't seem to have gone through any.

I can't tell how much I'm going to like this book when I'm finished with it. I am because the chapters alternate between Amelia and Craig's perspective's but the chapters aren't labeled as such, so it takes a few sentences to figure out whose head we're in. And it's crazy to me that they are only a few days into their relationship but it's already babe this and baby that. Seems too early for that for me.
