Oh, the idea of conditional love and worth. If I was considering somebody as a partner and this came out of their mouth, I would never speak to them again. Clearly, when I got sick, they would leave. It's just a really gross mindset.
I hope she redeems herself later in the book because right now, I hope she ends up alone and miserable.

If I hear “Doctor Ken Miles” one more time I’m gonna throw my phone across the room! I swear to God she must say “Doctor Ken Miles” 300 times in chapter 13 alone!!! ENOUGH!!!!! Also? This chick seems hella dumb for someone who’s supposed to be an ER doctor.
